Dispatches: Britain’s Gaza Secrets Exposed 11.05pm, Channel 4 With Donald Trump cheerleading for a far-right Israeli government, the horror in Gaza has represented an extreme moral and political hazard for successive UK governments since the Hamas attacks of October 2023. However, they’ve played a difficult hand pretty badly. This film gains access to internal Whitehall documents to offer an insight into Britain’s compromised response to alleged Israeli war crimes. Phil Harrison Ludwig 9pm, BBC One A corduroy-clad cosy crime climax of sorts as the second season of this slight, charming drama ambles to a close. John and Lucy are faced with a murder that affects them personally. Will it enable them to finally snare Joanne Kemper? David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin continue to keep us onboard for the low-intensity ride. PH Taskmaster 9pm, Channel 4 Hippos, steam and googly eyes all feature in tonight’s tasks, with Richard Ayoade, Isy Suttie and Chloe Petts taking up the challenge. But the big question is: what will they find when they look under tables? Meanwhile, Greg Davies shouts at art. Just your average Taskmaster episode, then. Hannah Verdier All Creatures Great and Small 9pm, Channel 5 Veterinary heroism and incremental social change in post-second world war Yorkshire remain a pleasing weekly tonic: this episode has the classic premise of thrusting ideologue Siegfried (Samuel West) perturbing the locals by trying new things. If that weren’t enough, Helen (Rachel Shenton) experiments with a different type of cow: friesians! Jack Seale RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 1opm, BBC Three This week, the category is musicals. Enter a jazz-hands-heavy take on Chicago. With the West End theme locked and loaded, the guest judges are Mazz Murray (who trod the boards playing Dusty Springfield) and Layton Williams. But which queen will take their final bow? Priya Elan The Paper 11pm, Sky One More of the US Office spin-off that sends up the embattled state of local journalism. This double-header sees editor Ned (Domhnall Gleeson) endure a brush with the manosphere. Elsewhere, the Truth Teller celebrates a big anniversary and CEO Marv (Allan Havey) tries to kill a story. Hannah J Davies Live sport Uefa Nations League football: Portugal v Wales, 7.30pm, BBC Two Welsh captain Ben Davies returns to the squad as his side visit Lisbon. Georgia v Northern Ireland is on Friday at 4.45pm.
